Frequently Asked Questions
What can I bring?
1) Yourself. Come as you are! 🥰 Each person should register for a ticket. We kindly ask no groups larger than 4 attend so that we can maintain intentional interactions amongst new and returning friends.
2) Your own creative project to work on! Feel free to bring painting/crafting supplies to use and share with the group (nature/lifestyle magazines, paint, and paint brushes are helpful).
What counts as creative? What can I make at the event?
Everyone can be creative! Examples of what you could work on include a crochet/knitting piece, illustrations on your iPad, lego sculpture, origami, lettering, etc.
Please note that the space is limited - we ask that you keep your big projects and heavy-duty tools at home.
We will have supplies for crafting a card/vision board and painting a canvas on a first come first serve basis.
What about COVID?
This is an indoor setting in a public space where masking is highly encouraged and vaccinations are required to protect everyone. Those who feel unwell or who have been exposed to someone who is sick should not attend with respect for the health of others. If you have a headache, sneeze, or cough – watch out as COVID symptoms can be sneaky. Free at-home COVID tests are available through the USPS. Please practice proactive habits - sneezing/coughing into elbows, washing hands frequently, and mindful awareness.
Where can I park?
Parking is available in the parking lot around the building.
What food options are there?
Please bring your own dinner to eat together (a fridge and microwave are available). Tea and coffee-based drinks are free and available at the clubhouse.
You can also reserve a made-to-order meal for $10 - this includes a grilled cheese sandwich with protein (honey ham, salami, or turkey breast) and toppings (sauteed onions, mushrooms, or garlic spinach), a bag of chips, and a cup of iced tea. Add a kick to your sandwich with homemade sambal. Advance pay via Venmo is preferred - you can send this upon ticket order.
What is the weather like and what should I wear?
The forecast for outside is looking to be…hot as always. There is a chance of rain in the evening. Dress what makes you feel comfortable! We will be indoors enjoying A/C the entire duration of the event.
What can I expect from this gathering?
A safe and inclusive space to eat, chit-chat, and hang out! We encourage making buddies with someone new. Small group settings (2-7 people) and social mixing will be facilitated throughout the event so keep an open mind. If you’re ever overstimulated or need a quiet moment, please feel free to step out and recuperate.
What is the site accessibility?
It is flat surfaces throughout the building. Unfortunately, there are no disability-friendly doors. Please ask the host for help!
